Town picked up their second clean sheet of the season as they drew 0-0 at Leicester's Walkers Stadium. Both teams had chances in a game in which young Irish keeper Shane Supple made his senior debut as a substitute after Lewis Price had succumbed to a first half knee injury.

The Blues suffered their first defeat of the season as they travelled to QPR and lost 2-1. Kevin Gallen and Martin Rowlands netted as the home side dominated the first half, before Sam Parkin scored his first Town goal as the Blues improved after the break.

Boss Joe Royle says he will not be risking central defender Jason De Vos or striker Nicky Forster against Colchester United at Layer Road this evening (KO 7.45pm). Forster has suffered a reaction to his thigh injury, while De Vos hurt his knee in Friday's game against Atlético Madrid.

Town suffered their first defeat of the pre-season campaign as Rangers came away from Portman Road with a 2-0 win. Peter Lovenkrands opened the scoring in the 54th minute and Nacho Novo sealed the win two minutes from the end.

Boss Joe Royle was pleased with Town's five-goal haul at Boston on Saturday, but was disappointed that his side conceded twice against the League Two side. Royle has missed both of Town's pre-season friendlies having recently undergone knee replacement surgery but is expected to be back at work today.

Youngsters Shane Supple, Owen Garvan and Aidan Collins will all go on Town's pre-season tour of Hungary and will be involved in Wednesday's first pre-season friendly at Cambridge United. All three were in Town's FA Youth Cup-winning U18 side last season.
